What is it and how does it work?

Painted portraits, old master influenced, with classic timeless elegance ( hand-rendered mixed media) are created by using a computer as canvas and digital stylus as a brush. An image from the studio or your reference image is transformed into a work of art that will be a treasured creation for generations.
 

Using reference images hours are spent bringing out details, enhancing light, changing light direction, changing backgrounds, and sometimes adding subjects and humor. Then layers and layers are added of hand-painted background information for depth. Each piece of art is a unique, one of a kind, interpretation of your cell phone image or from a studio session.

Once completed it is printed on the medium of your choice, framed or not, and delivered to your door. Beautiful on canvas, my unique metal or fine art paper. We work together to identify your choice of presentation for your environment, décor, and taste.  Images may be licensed for commercial use.

Creative Fee

The creative fee is based on the subject, your reference photos, and the complexity. The basic fee is $299 per subject, additional subjects $75 each.

A 50% deposit is required to get on my creation board and secure your place in line. All reference images must be approved and received as well at that time. 

Creation time is dependent on the complexity and subject number. An average is 10-15 hours for one subject.

A proof will be sent for your approval and one revision is included free of charge. Satisfaction guaranteed.

No refunds for revisions after a signed approval has been received and the order has been sent to print.

Custom Matte Metal

1/8” aluminum w/o frame-mounted ready to hang. This product is beautiful with a modern, industrial, yet vintage look.  It can be framed for a more traditional feel. Also ideal for areas that are subject to humidity, heat, and dust. Ex. Barns, patios, etc. (not scratch or oil-resistant) Hand sprayed with UV coating

Unstretched Canvas

Fine Art Paper

Traditional photo fine art paper ready for DIY matting and framing. Standard sizes only
